All students deserve a safe and dry place to learn. Replacing roofs is standard maintenance for all schools. But until the half-penny sales tax, there wasn’t enough in the budget to fully replace badly damaged and aging roofs. This led to ineffective patching, frequent leaking and water damage. The Half-Penny Promise ensures that our students are dry and safe with new roofs over their heads.
